HIPERMEDIA

Hipermedia its the name that is designate to a set of methos to write, desing and compose contents that have texts, videos,audio, maps and other means, and apart from that to have the opportunity to interact with other people.

The hipermedia texts are not linear, so the readers can explore the information as they want. This means that, the same article can be used for different publics.

Here, there are some examples of how can we use the Hipermedia:

• Reference Tools: The documents with cross references make the hipermedia a useful source of reference of material.

• Educative information: The readers can explore the documents in the way they want. Apart from that the hipermedia includes images, sounds, videos,…..

• The information of a product: The hipermedia is a useful media to offer different types of information. Specially, references about a product or a service.

Hipermedia is the union between multimedia and an hipertext. The hipertext is the organization of textual, visual graphic and sound through links that create and asociation between the relates information into the system. The hipertext offers a new organization of information. Apart from that, it allows different lectures and different levels of lecture. It also have the posibility of interactivity.
